Rybaltsche (Ukrainian Рибальче ; Russian Рыбальче ) is a village in Ukraine on the southern bank of the Dnieper Bug Liman near the port city of Kherson . It belongs to the Kherson Oblast or there to the Rajon Hola Prystan (see also City of Hola Prystan ).
In addition to Rybaltsche, the district council also includes the village of Sabaryne (Забарине) and the settlement of Wynohradne (Виноградне). From the founding in 1795 to 1917, the village was called Vyazenka (В'язенка).
An interesting sight in the vicinity of Rybaltsche is the Adschihol lighthouse , which stands a few hundred meters in front of the coastal section belonging to Rybaltsche in the Dnepr estuary and shows the ships the way. To the west of Rybaltsche is the Black Sea biosphere reserve , which is interesting for nature lovers.
There is also a memorial in Rybaltsche for the dead in the Dnepr-Carpathian operation of the Red Army in the winter of 1943/44, during which heavy fighting with great losses took place in the area of Kherson, in order to cross the Dnieper to the western bank guarantee.
