Henning Dedekind
Henning Dedekind (born December 30, 1562 in Neustadt am Rübenberge , † July 28, 1626 in Gebesee ) was a German composer .
Many musicians, poets and composers came from his family. His grandson was the composer and poet Constantin Christian Dedekind . Henning Dedekind was initially cantor and deacon in Langensalza and from 1615 took over the pastoral position in Gebesee.
He mainly created vocal works, including a six-part mass, of which only the Kyrie and the Gloria have survived. In addition, he also wrote works for teaching and teaching purposes.
