Henny Ella Reistad (born February 9, 1999 in Oslo , Norway ) is a Norwegian handball player .

Career

Henny Reistad played on December 19, 2015 for the first time for the women's team of Stabæk Håndball in the 1st divisjon, the second highest Norwegian league. In 2016, the backcourt player rose to the elite series with Stabæk. In summer 2018, she moved to league rivals Vipers Kristiansand . With the Vipers she won the Norwegian championship in 2019 and the Norgesmesterkap, the Norwegian cup competition, in 2019.

Reistad played 20 times for the Norwegian youth team and 22 times for the junior national team. With these teams, she took part in the U-18 World Cup in 2016 , in the U-19 European Championship in 2017 and in the U-20 World Cup in 2018 . She won the silver medal at the 2018 U-20 World Cup and was elected to the All-Star team. Reistad made her senior national team debut on November 22, 2018 . She played for Norway at the 2018 European Championships . During the tournament she scored a total of 18 goals.
