The Norwegian women's handball national team represents Norway in international tournaments in women's handball .

The first international match of the Norwegian selection took place on September 29, 1946 against Sweden, with a final score of 2: 5. Norway played a total of 1,348 international matches (819 wins, 95 draws, 434 defeats). So far, they have won three world championships , five Olympic medals, including two gold medals in 2008 and 2012, and eight European championships. Norway also won the World Cup in 2005 and 2008 .
