Kari Skaar Brattset (born February 15, 1991 in Fredrikstad , Norway ) is a Norwegian handball player who belongs to the squad of the Norwegian national team.
Career
Brattset started playing handball at the Norwegian club Tune at the age of nine. From 2007 the circle runner ran for Sarpsborg IL. Between 2011 and 2014 she played for Fredrikstad BK . Then Brattset was under contract for two years with Glassverket IF , with whom she competed in the highest Norwegian league and took part in European cup competitions. In the summer of 2016 she joined Vipers Kristiansand . With the Vipers she won the Norgesmesterskap, the Norwegian cup competition, in 2017. She scored six goals in the final. She also won the Norwegian championship with Kristiansand in 2018. She has been under contract with the top Hungarian club Győri ETO KC since summer 2018 . With Győr she won the Hungarian Championship, the Hungarian Cup and the EHF Champions League in 2019 .
Brattset made her debut for the Norwegian national team on March 13, 2016. In 2017 she won the silver medal at the World Cup in Germany . She played for Norway at the 2018 European Championships .
