The Serbian national women's handball team ( Serbian Женска рукометна репрезентација Србије Ženska rukometna reprezentacija Srbije ) represents Serbia in international women's handball competitions and is under the direction of the Serbian handball association RSS . The association has been a member of the EHF since 2006. The team is treated as the direct successor of the Yugoslav (until February 2003) and the Serbian-Montenegrin national team (until June 2006) , both by the International and the European Handball Federation .

The qualification for the European Championship 2006 was made by the joint Serbian-Montenegrin team, but because the handball association of Montenegro withdrew its players from the team before the European Championship, Serbia played the tournament under its own name. The Serbian team's greatest success was second place at the 2013 home World Cup .
