The Czechoslovak men's national handball team was the selection of Czechoslovakia , which represented the Czechoslovak handball association at international level until 1992.

Olympic games
The Czechoslovaks won the silver medal in their first Olympic participation in 1972 after a final defeat against Yugoslavia . In three other participations, the team did not get past sixth place.

World championships in indoor handball
The Czechoslovak national handball team won the title at indoor world championships once (1967) and twice the silver (1958, 1961) and bronze medals (1954, 1964).
World championships in field handball
In field handball, Czechoslovakia took 6th place at the 1938 World Cup in the German Reich; at the 1955 World Cup in the Federal Republic of Germany she was third. In the all-time table of the field handball world championships held until 1966, Czechoslovakia ranks sixth with seven wins and two defeats. The team conceded 82 goals out of 92 goals.
