Jiří Kavan (born December 11, 1943 in Olomouc , Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia ; † June 14, 2010 ibid) was a Czech handball player who competed in the Olympic Games in 1972 and 1976 .
In 1972 he won the silver medal with his team at the Olympic Games. He played in all six games and scored fifteen goals.
In 1976 he was seventh with his team. He played in four games and scored nine goals.
