Peter David
Peter Allen David (born September 23, 1956 in Fort Meade , Maryland ) is an American novelist and comic book writer and occasional screenwriter.
Life
David has excelled as a comic book writer in the past. He worked for Marvel Comics as a writer on series such as Hulk , Captain Marvel , Spider-Man , Wolverine and X-Factor , while for Marvel’s competitor DC Comics he wrote stories for series such as Supergirl , The Atlantis Chronicles , Young Justice and Aquaman composed.
In addition, he mainly writes novels based on computer games or movies. He has also written more than a dozen Star Trek novels . Particularly noteworthy in this context is the book series Star Trek: New Frontier created by David , which designs and pursues a specific scenario within the franchise universe.
Since 1993 he has also occasionally appeared as a screenwriter. As such, he was involved in a number of Charles Band productions, and he was also involved in various television series. So he wrote two episodes of the television series Babylon 5 .
In late December 2012, David suffered a stroke from which he has since recovered.
