Sanna Charlotte Solberg (born June 16, 1990 in Bærum ) is a Norwegian handball player .
Career
The outside player's first two clubs were Jar and Helset IF. Solberg later moved to Stabæk Håndball , with whom she played in the highest Norwegian league. Together with her twin sister Silje , who also played for Stabæk, she was in the final of the Norgesmesterskap in 2011. Here Stabæk was defeated by the Norwegian record champions Larvik HK . In the summer of 2014 she signed a three-year contract with the Norwegian top club Larvik HK. With Larvik, she won the championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017. She has been under contract with the Danish club Team Esbjerg since the 2017/18 season . With Esbjerg she won the Danish Championship in 2019 and 2020 and the Danish Cup in 2017.
Solberg played a total of 146 international matches for the Norwegian national team . The Norwegian took part in the 2013 World Cup. A year later she won the European Championship . In 2015 she won the world championship. She was also on the squad for the Norwegian youth team. With the junior selection, she won the 2010 World Championship and was also elected to the All-Star Team. She won the bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . In 2016 she won the European Championship for the second time. A year later she won the silver medal at the World Cup in Germany .
