Career

In the club

After Løke started playing soccer, she started playing handball at the age of ten for the Sandefjord club IL Runar . In 2000, the circle player Larvik HK joined. In her position, however, Løke could not prevail, so she played two years in the second team, which competed in the third division.

From the summer of 2002 Løke, who can throw with both hands, ran for the first division club Gjerpen Håndball . With Gjerpen she was relegated to the second division a year later, but was able to celebrate the direct promotion one season later. With Gjerpen she took part in the European Cup Winners' Cup in the 2005/06 and 2006/07 seasons. Her pregnancy became known in January 2007, whereupon Løke interrupted her career. During her pregnancy, her then partner Leif Gautestad accepted a coaching position in Aalborg . Løke then followed her partner and played for the Danish club Aalborg DH .

After her significant other was released, Løke played the 2007/08 season to the end and then returned to Larvik. In the 2008/09 season, the right-hander won the championship with Larvik and was the top scorer in the Norwegian elite series with 216 goals. In the 2010/11 season Løke scored 221 goals in one season, which she and Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth Koren holds the league record. Before Løke moved to the Hungarian club Győri ETO KC in the summer of 2011, she won the championship and the EHF Champions League with Larvik . With Győri ETO KC she won the championship in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017 as well as the Hungarian Cup in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. In addition, she won the EHF Champions League in 2013, 2014 and 2017. In November 2016, she announced her second pregnancy. From the 2017/18 season she was under contract with the Norwegian club Storhamar Håndball . In the summer of 2019 Løke wanted to return to Larvik, however, due to the club's financial difficulties, she switched to Vipers Kristiansand .
