Dragan Škrbić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Драган Шкрбић ; born September 29, 1968 in Kula , Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian-Spanish handball player . He is 1.90 m tall and weighs 90 kg.

Škrbić, who last played for the Spanish club FC Barcelona (back number 22) and for the Serbian national handball team, was mostly used as a circle runner.

Dragan Škrbić started in the Serbian league in 1988 at RK Red Star Belgrade , where he won the Yugoslav championship in 1990/91. In 1993 he moved to the Spanish league ASOBAL to Atlético Madrid; In 1994 he moved on to Alcira and in 1995 to Ademar León , where he became top scorer and best foreign player in the league in 1996/97. In 1997 he joined VfL Hameln in the 1st handball Bundesliga and became the best player of the 1997 season / 98 elected. In 1998 he was hired by RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko in the Slovenian league and won championships and cups in Slovenia in 1998/99 and 1999/2000 . In 2000 he returned to Germany, this time to HSG Nordhorn . In the same year he was elected world handball player. In 2002 he finally went to FC Barcelona . Here he won the Spanish championship in 2002/03 and 2005/06, the Spanish Cup and the Spanish Supercup in 2003/04 and 2006/07 , the EHF Cup in 2002/03 , the European Supercup in 2003/04 and the EHF Champions in 2004/05 League . He won the bronze medal at the men's European handball championship in 1996 as well as at the 1999 and 2001 world championships . At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney he was voted the best player of the tournament. In the national team , he completed 215 international matches. He ended his career in the summer of 2008.
