Allison Pineau (born May 2, 1989 in Chartres , France ) is a French handball player .
Career
The 1.81 m tall Pineau plays in the attack on the back center . From 2009 she played for Metz handball . For the French national team , Pineau has so far played 239 international matches, in which she scored 617 goals. In 2009 she was runner-up with France at the World Cup in China . She was elected to the All-Star team at the end of the World Cup . At the 2011 World Cup in Brazil , Pineau was again runner-up and appointed to the all-star team. In summer 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London . She won the silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . She won the bronze medal at the 2016 European Championships . At the World Cup in 2017 and the European Championship in 2018 Pineau won the gold medal each.
On May 26, 2010 Pineau was chosen as the first French woman to be a world handball player for the 2009 season. In the 2012/13 season she ran for the Romanian club CS Oltchim Râmnicu Vâlcea . After Râmnicu Vâlcea was eliminated in the semi-finals of the Champions League, she had her contract terminated. Shortly after the contract was terminated, it was announced that she had signed a contract with the Macedonian association ŽRK Vardar SCBT . On October 30, 2014, Skopje terminated this contract. Only a few days later she signed the Slovenian club Rokometni Klub Krim . On February 28, 2015, she terminated her contract for financial reasons. She then signed a contract with the French first division handball team Cercle Nîmes in March 2015 . In the 2015/16 season, Pineau ran for the Romanian first division club HCM Baia Mare . From the 2016/17 season she was under contract with the French club Brest Bretagne Handball . In the 2019/20 season she played for Paris 92 . Then she is under contract with the Montenegrin association ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica .
