Anita Kaldine Kulcsár [ ˈɒnitɒ ˈkulʧaːr ] (born October 2, 1976 in Szerencs , † January 19, 2005 between Pusztaszabolcs and Velence ) was a Hungarian handball player . Your playing position was on the circle .

Career

She played 165 times for the Hungarian national team and scored 403 goals. The very talented handball player first played in Győr in 1995, where she became an experienced player, and later left the club in the direction of Székesfehérvár . In 2004 she signed the association Dunaferr NK (in Dunaújváros ). From 2004 she studied in parallel at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest jurisprudence .

She was posthumously voted " World Handball Player of the Year 2004".

death

On the morning of January 19, 2005, Anita Kulcsár was on her way from her apartment in Sukoró for morning training to Dunaújváros. On the 6207 highway between Velence and Pusztaszabolcs, she skidded on the slippery road. The car went off the road and crashed uncontrollably into a tree. She died immediately at the scene of the accident.
