Career
Club teams
She began her handball career with the Minis in Waiblingen. She was left-handed at the time, but trained herself to right-handed because her teammates all threw with the right. She later played at VfL Waiblingen , where she was trained by her father Jürgen Krause , among others . Then she moved to HSG Blomberg-Lippe . From 2001 to 2007 Nadine Krause was part of the Bayer Leverkusen Bundesliga squad . From the 2007/08 season she played for the Danish first division club FCK Håndbold . In summer 2010 she returned to her old place of work, the HSG Blomberg-Lippe. In the 2011/12 season she ran again for Bayer Leverkusen. After this season, the former world handball player ended her career.
National team
Nadine Krause made her international debut for the German national handball team on November 23, 1999 against Romania . At the World Cup in Russia in December 2005 , she was the top scorer and reached sixth place with the German national handball team. At the European Handball Championship in Sweden in 2006 she was again top scorer with 58 goals. Due to an injury, she was unable to play at the 2009 World Handball Championship in China . After the handball world championship in 2011 , she resigned from the national team.
For the former national coach Armin Emrich it is the " cover arm of women's handball". Emrich literally: “She is a complete player in attack, defense, counter-attack and retreat phase. And she is a real team player. The way I got to know her in the last two years, so was Jo Deckarm ”.
