Rikke Marie Granlund (born November 14, 1989 in Oslo , Norway ) is a Norwegian handball player who belongs to the squad of the Norwegian national beach handball team.

Career

Indoor handball

Rikke Marie Granlund initially played for Bækkelagets SK before moving to Nordstrand IF in 2012 . With Nordstrand she played a total of three seasons in the top Norwegian league. After the club went bankrupt in 2016, goalkeeper Halden HK joined them. When Halden also went bankrupt a year later, she signed a contract with the Norwegian first division club Oppsal IF . Granlund has been guarding the gate of the Danish first division team Esbjerg since 2018 . In the 2018/19 season she won the Danish championship with Esbjerg and was in the final of the EHF Cup . A season later she won the Danish championship again.

Beach handball

With the Norwegian national beach handball team, Granlund won the gold medal at the European beach handball championship in 2017 . In the same year she took part in the World Games . She also took sixth place at Beachhandball Euro 2019 .
