Henri Drell (born April 25, 2000 ) is an Estonian basketball player .

career

For the 2016/17 season, Drell moved from Audentes / Noortekoondis, a club from his hometown Tallinn , to the German Bundesliga club Brose Bamberg and received a six-year contract from Upper Franconia. Previously, in the summer of 2016, he had averaged 14.1 points for the Estonian selection at the U16 European Championship. For the time being, however, Drell did not play for Bamberg in the Bundesliga or for the clubs of the Bamberg youth network, including 1. FC Baunach in the 2. Bundesliga ProA , the Regnitztal Baskets in the 2. Regionalliga and for the U19 team of TSV Breitengüßbach in the Junior basketball league . In March 2019 he made his debut in the basketball Bundesliga for Bamberg . Drell was the Baunach team's third-best scorer in the 2018/19 season with 13.1 points per match, but was relegated with it from the 2nd Bundesliga Pro A. In April 2019, Drell signed up for the North American League NBA's draft proceedings , but later had his name removed from the list of candidates. In July 2019, he used a clause in Bamberg to get out of his contract, which will run until 2022. Shortly afterwards he hired Victoria Libertas Pesaro in Italy .
