Henri Maurel
Henri Maurel (born May 2, 1867 in Manosque , † April 3, 1935 in Marseille ) was a French politician. From 1919 to 1924 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies .
Maurel, who was a full-time teacher, moved into the General Council of the Bouches-du-Rhône department in 1910 . In 1914 he ran for a seat in parliament, but was defeated by Frédéric Chevillon . He remained a member until 1919, when he won the first constituency of the department for the Socialists and entered the National Assembly. When the Communists split off , he joined them, but was expelled from the party in 1923. Maurel resigned from the National Assembly in 1924 and died in Marseille in 1935.
