Frédéric Chevillon

Frédéric Chevillon (born June 12, 1879 in Marseille , † February 21, 1915 in Les Éparges , Département Meuse ) was a French politician. From 1912 to 1915 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies under the Third French Republic .

Life

Chevillon, son of MP Joseph Chevillon , inherited his late father as mayor of Allauch in 1910 . He was also a civil servant in the French Ministry of the Navy. In 1912 he applied for a seat in the Chamber of Deputies, which had become vacant after the death of Henri Brisson . He was able to prevail in the second round of elections and joined the radical socialists in parliament . In the following regular elections in April 1914, he was just able to prevail against Henri Maurel . A little later he went to the First World War as a simple soldier . Chevillon, who fought for the 302nd Infantry Regiment, fell in Lorraine in February 1915 .
