Until then, the mill belonged to the nearby Kellersberg Castle . Since then, the mill has been owned and owned by the Offergeld family. Two undershot water wheels drove the millstones with water power until 1930, before they were converted to turbine drive and from 1960 to electric drive. Today modern mills have taken over the grinding. The Kellersberger mill is the only mill still in operation in Broichbachtal.
