Henri Platelle
Henri Émile Albert Platelle (born April 5, 1921 in Nomain , France , † May 16, 2011 in Lille ) was a French historian with a research focus on medieval history .
Life
Platelle was 1946 in Cambrai to priests ordained. From 1949 to 1987 he taught in Lille and from 1973 to 1985 at the ICP in Paris . In 1962 he received his doctorate from the Sorbonne . In 2007 he was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor .
