Henriett Seth F. (born October 27, 1980) is the pseudonym of Henrietta Fajcsák , a Hungarian author and artist . She became known with her book Autizmussal onmagamba zarva ( loosely translated: With my autism included in myself).

life and work

Due to behavioral problems and communication problems caused by autism , Henriett Seth F. was initially considered not to be able to attend school. At the beginning of her school career she only received music and art lessons. In 1995 she attended the Gárdonyi Géza Ciszterci Gimnázium with a focus on art. At the age of 18 she won the Geza Gardonyi Prize for her school performance in connection with the repeated exhibition of her works in the art gallery Muveszetek Haza . After finishing school, she studied psychology and sociology at Eszterházy Károly University , but was retired in 2002 due to her communication and behavioral problems.

Henriett Seth F. learned poems by heart very early and by the age of eight knew a volume of Attila József's poems by heart. At the age of nine she wrote her first poem and at the age of ten she won her first short story competition . Henriett Seth F. had her first publication in 1999 with a poem in the magazine Lyceum Paletta . She also learned to play the flute when she was eight and I learned to play the double bass from ten to twelve years old . Her book Autiznus — Egy masik vilag was nominated for the 2006 Péter Zsoldos Prize.

In September 2005 the filmmaker Sandor Friderikusz, known in Hungary, invited Seth F. to speak in a documentary about her art and autism. The film was released under the title A Szolas Szabadsaga (freely translated: freedom of speech).

Henriett Seth F. ended her artistic career as early as she began it. She gave up music when she was 13, writing fiction when she was 25 and fine arts when she was 27. Her last art exhibition took place in June 2007 in the Bródy Sándor county and city library. Orlai Produkciós Iroda converted a book by Henriett Seth F. into the play Nemsenkilény, monológ nemmindegyembereknek (freely translated: Notanobodycreature), which was performed in Esztergom, Budapest, Pécs, Tatabánya, Székesfehérvár and Eger.
