Henriette Michele Akaba Edoa (born June 7, 1992 in Yaoundé ) is a Cameroonian soccer player .
Career
society
Akaba started her career with Amazone FC in Yaoundé . In the spring of 2008 she moved to city rivals Lorient FC Yaoundé, where she made her senior debut in Ligue 2. After two and a half years at Lorient FC, she moved to the Thai first division club Bangkok Thonburi Sport Club in spring 2010, where she met compatriot Jeannette Yango . After only one year in Thailand with Bangkok Thonburi, she returned to Cameroon and signed for Canon Sportif Filles de Yaoundé . In November 2011 she left Canon again and signed for Louves Minproff de Yaoundé . In spring 2012 she moved to Russia for the UEFA Women's Champions League participant FC Energiya Voronezh . After six months in Russia, she returned to Cameroon in June 2012 and moved to Lorema FC Filles De Yaounde .
National team
Edoa has been playing for Cameroon since 2010. In autumn 2011 she took part in the All African Games Women's Tournament in Maputo and was part of the extended Cameroon squad for the 2012 Summer Olympics . She could not recommend herself in the final squad for London. In September 2012 she returned to the national team and took part in the 8th African Women's Championship in Equatorial Guinea .
