Henrike Willinger

Henrike Willinger (* before 1949) is a former Austrian table tennis player . She was one of the best players in Austria in the 1960s.

Career

Henrike Willinger played for the SV Wien police club . From 1962 to 1967 she won the Austrian championship four times , first from 1962 to 1964 three times in a row, then again in 1967. In addition, there are several top placings:

  • 1962: Victory in doubles with Elisabeth Willinger
  • 1964: Victory in doubles with Elisabeth Willinger, 2nd place in mixed with Conrad Köllner
  • 1965: 2nd place in singles, 2nd place in doubles with Elisabeth Willinger
  • 1966: 2nd place in singles, victory in doubles with Elisabeth Willinger
  • 1967: Victory in doubles with Elisabeth Willinger

Henrike Willinger took part in the World Championships in 1963 and 1965 . It never came close to medal ranks. By 1971 she was nominated 30 times for the national team.

Henrike Willinger's sister Elisabeth was also a national player and five-time Austrian champion in singles.

Before 1971 Henrike married Willinger and then performed under the name Henrike Ferencsin . She still played for the clubs SV Schwechat and SVS Niederösterreich (2009).
