Henrique de Azevedo Futuro

Henrique de Azevedo Futuro ( July 23, 1886 - December 31, 1959 ) was a Brazilian brigadier general .

Life

Azevedo Futuro completed an officer training in the army ( Exército Brasileiro ) of the armed forces (Forças Armadas do Brasil) and subsequently found various uses as an officer and staff officer. After his promotion to lieutenant colonel on May 3, 1936, he was appointed chief of engineering in the 9th Military Region (9th Região Militar) in July 1946 . He was then commander of the 3rd Pioneer Battalion from August 1938 to 1939 and commander of the 3rd Street Battalion between 1939 and 1943 and was promoted to colonel on May 24, 1941 . On April 27, 1945 he was promoted to brigadier general and in 1946 to commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade .
