Henry Abbot (painter)
Henry Abbot , also Abbott (* 1768 in London , England ; † 1840 there ) was a British architectural draftsman .
life and work
Abbot worked in London. In 1820 he published the folio Antiquities of Rome, comprising twenty-four select Views of its principal ruins from drawings made in the year 1818, with 24 drawings that he had made in Rome two years earlier .
Abbot's architectural drawings from the German city of Elberfeld are also available from the period between 1828 and 1833 , which were published under the title Elberfeld in the ground plan and with its most excellent buildings in the Leudersdorf-Mansfeld lithography establishment there.
