Henry Beauchamp Walters
Henry Beauchamp Walters (born April 6, 1867 in Oldham , † April 24, 1944 ) was a British classical archaeologist .
Walters attended Eton College and studied at King's College , Cambridge. From 1890 he worked at the antiquities department of the British Museum , which he headed as Keeper of Greek and Roman Antiquities from 1925 until his retirement in 1932. In 1920 he was named Officer of the Order of the British Empire .
