Henry Corden

Henry Corden (born January 6, 1920 in Montreal , Canada , † May 19, 2005 in Encino , California ) was a Canadian actor and speaker in animated films .

Career

Henry moved to New York City in his youth. In the 1940s he came to Hollywood and had various small film roles here, mostly in the role of villain. He also appeared in numerous TV series , including Perry Mason , Smoking Colts , Mr. Ed and A Cage Full of Heroes . Since the 1960s, he has been primarily active as a speaker in cartoons and series, including Jonny Quest , the Feuerstein family, and Tom and Jerry . In 1977, after the death of Alan Reed, he became the new spokesman for Fred Feuerstein .

Henry Corden died of emphysema at AMI Encino Hospital . He leaves behind his wife Angelina as well as five children and five grandchildren.
