Henry Cox Jones
Henry Cox Jones (born January 23, 1821 near Russellville , Franklin County , Alabama , † June 20, 1913 in Florence , Lauderdale County , Alabama) was an American lawyer and politician .
Jones served as judge in Alabama in 1841. The following year elected to the Alabama State Legislature . Then he served in the Alabama Senate in 1853 . He also represented his home state in 1861 at its Secession Convention and later in the Provisional Confederate Congress .
