Henry Palmé
Henry Artur Palmé (born September 4, 1907 in Lund , † June 2, 1987 in Enskede ) was a Swedish athlete .
Henry Palmé won the Swedish marathon championship nine times in a row from 1934 to 1942 . In 1944 he won his tenth title.
At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin , he finished 13th in 2: 46: 08.4 hours. At the 1938 European Championships , he won the bronze medal in 2: 42: 13.6 hours.
Palmé was 1.69 m tall and had a competition weight of 57 kg. He set his personal best in the marathon in 1939 with 2:36:56 hours.
