Henry St. John Thackeray
Henry St. John Thackeray (* 1869 , † the thirtieth June 1930 ) was a British scholar at King's College of the University of Cambridge . He was an expert on the koine , i. H. the Greek language of the Hellenistic period , for Flavius Josephus , whose writings he translated into English and published, and the Septuagint .
