Henry Westenra, 4th Baron Rossmore

Henry Cairnes Westenra, 4th Baron Rossmore ( 14 November 1851 - 28 March 1874 ) was a British nobleman and politician.

Life

Henry Westenra was the eldest son of Henry Westenra, 3rd Baron Rossmore , and his second wife Josephine Julia Helen (née Lloyd). He had five siblings, three brothers and two sisters.

At the age of nine he inherited the title of Baron Rossmore from his father. He attended Eton College . Westenra served in the first Life Guards regiment . At the age of 21 he finally became a member of the House of Lords . Due to his early, childless death due to a riding accident, the title of Baron Rossmore passed to his brother Derrick Westenra .
