Henryk Charucki

Henryk Charucki (born December 2, 1955 in Ostrów Mazowiecka ) is a former Polish cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

His first major success was winning the Tour of Mexico in 1978. A year later he won the Tour of Poland at home in front of Janusz Kowalski . In 1979 he became the Polish mountain driving champion. He started for the clubs Flota Gdynia and Dolmel Wrocław. In 1978 he started for Poland at the UCI Road World Championships and finished 47th in the road race . He left Poland in the early 1980s and lived in France , where he continued to race from 1982 to 1992 and won some smaller tours (such as the Tour de la Creuse ).
