Herbert Mayr Park is a 14,000 m² park in Liesing. It lies between Liesing , Fabergasse, Haeckelstrasse and Unterer Aquäduktgasse. In addition to the lush, forest-like tree population and the immediate vicinity of the local recreation area around the Liesing, the park has playgrounds for toddlers, children and young people , a soccer field , skate park , cable car, sand playground, drinking fountain , fenced dog area and seasonal care by Kinderfreunde Wien .

Herbert Mayr Park was named after Herbert Mayr (1909–1984), a member of the social democratic state parliament .
