Herbert Birett
Herbert Walter Birett ( August 21, 1934 in Berlin - January 24, 2015 in Munich ) was a German geophysicist and non-fiction author on the subject of silent film history .
Birett was employed at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich .
