Herbert Fojtlin (born October 14, 1976 in Vienna ) is an Austrian former athlete .

Career

Fojtlin was three times Austrian champion. He celebrated his greatest sporting successes in middle-distance running and sprinting , but also won competitions in long-distance running and was characterized by an enormous range of disciplines. He holds the stadium record in the Profertil Arena Hartberg over 800 meters with a time of 1:52:09 min from 1998.

In addition to his career in competitive sports, Fojtlin completed a degree in biology and sports and graduated with a Bachelor of Science . He also devoted himself to choral singing and early musical education.
