Herbert Knierim
Herbert Knierim (born July 21, 1924 in Eschwege , Werra; † August 24, 2007 ) was a German CDU politician .
education and profession
Herbert Knierim attended elementary school and grammar school where he passed the Abitur. From 1941 to 1945 he did military service. He began studying law and political science in 1947 and passed the state examination. From 1957 he worked as a legal advisor and press officer in a regional association for the construction industry. Knierim also worked as a business lawyer and editor of two construction magazines in Düsseldorf.

Herbert Knierim became a member of the CDU in 1958. He was a member of the district and state economic committee of the CDU Rhineland and a board member of the CDU district of Düsseldorf. From 1961 to 1963 he was chairman of the administrative committee of the Düsseldorf employment office. He worked as a member of the building coordination committee for the Düsseldorf district.
Herbert Knierim was from October 9, 1963 to July 23, 1966 a member of the 5th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , which he entered via the state list.
