Herbert Madejski
Herbert Madejski (born October 7, 1945 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ). Madejski was a brief member of the Austrian Federal Council in 2013 .
education and profession
Herbert Madejski attended middle school after elementary school and began studying economics after graduating from high school . He finished his studies in 1970 and obtained his doctorate in economics in 1972. In 1970 Madejski worked at the Zentralsparkasse and between 1971 and 1977 he worked for the Ring Freiheitlicher Wirtschaftsteadender , of which he was managing director from 1974. In 1978 he became self-employed until he worked for the radio advisory ring in 1985. From 1987 to 1988 he was its managing director. From 1988 to 1989 Madejski worked for Hartlauer , and from 1990 to 1993 he worked as a consultant abroad. Since 1993 he has been the managing director of IKI GesmbH. He publishes the international press review on Central Europe and organizes seminars.

Herbert Madejski joined the Ring of Freedom Students (RFS) at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and was chairman of the RFS at that university. 1968 to 1971 he was also chairman of the RFS Vienna. In 1970 he joined the FPÖ- Meidling and has been its chairman since 1972. From 1973 to 1986 and 1990 to 1997 Madejski was a member of the board of the FPÖ Vienna, from 1976 to 1982 deputy regional party chairman and from 1973 to 1991 district councilor in Meidling. From 1977 Madejski was also the chairman of the free district councils in this district. In 1991 he moved to the Vienna State Parliament and City Council, where he represented the FPÖ in the Urban Development and Transport Committee during the 18th legislative period.
After his party colleague Hans-Jörg Jenewein moved from the Federal Council to the National Council, Herbert Madejski was sent to the Federal Council by the Vienna State Parliament and City Council, where he was sworn in on July 1, 2013. He was a member of the Federal Parliament's Freedom Group and was deputy chairman of the interior committee and a member of the environmental committee. After the National Council election in September 2013 , Hans-Jörg Jenewein resigned from the National Council and again took over the Vienna FPÖ mandate in the Federal Council, whereby Madejski resigned from it on October 28, 2013.

Herbert Madejski is married and has three children.
