Herbert Muck
Herbert Muck (* 1924 in Vienna ; † February 1, 2008 ) was an Austrian author , art historian and theologian with a focus on liturgy and architecture .
Life
Herbert Muck was born in Vienna in 1924 and studied philosophy and theology, archeology, art history and art history in Vienna, Munich, Barcelona and Innsbruck. In 1960 he was appointed to the Academy of Fine Arts , where he headed the Institute for Church Construction and Sacred Art from 1973 until his retirement in 1994.
