Herbert Spencer Perry (born January 23, 1894 , † July 20, 1966 in Bridport ) was a British marksman .

Herbert Perry took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris in two disciplines on the running stag in double shot. In the individual competition, he did not get past 13th place with 59 points, while he was Olympic champion with the team . As the last scorer in the competition, Perry secured a narrow victory with a total of 68 points before Norway, whose team had scored a point less than the British team with 262 points. In addition to Perry, the team also included Cyril Mackworth-Praed , Philip Neame and Allen Whitty .

Perry was an officer in the British Army . In 1916 he was assigned to the Royal Artillery and in 1920 retired from active service with the rank of lieutenant .
