Hercules Pieterszoon Seghers , also Hercules Pietersz Segers (* around 1590 in Haarlem , Netherlands , † around 1638 in Amsterdam ), was a Dutch painter and etcher.

Seghers experimented with various etching techniques and depicted landscapes excellently. His work is still puzzling today. However, influences at Rembrandt can be proven.
Today only 183 etchings with 54 different motifs and 10 paintings are known from him.
