Heribert Pöttgen

Heribert Pöttgen (born August 27, 1929 - † July 18, 2012 ) was a German administrative lawyer and author .

Life

After studying law in Cologne, Pöttgen did his doctorate with a constitutional thesis on the countersignature of the official acts of the Federal President in accordance with Article 58 of the Basic Law . For many years he was in charge of the legal affairs of grammar schools in the cultural administration of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf and published several comments on school law . After retiring in 1995, he worked as a lawyer until 2012.

He also worked as a writer under the name Peter Pöttgen .
