The Heriot's Rugby Football Club is a rugby union -Verein which in the Scottish Premiership plays. The home games are played in Goldenacre , Edinburgh .
The association was founded in 1890. In 1920 the unofficial Scottish Championship was won for the first time. At the beginning of the 1970s, the club was one of the proponents of a championship to be organized by the national association . 1979 won the first championship title in this competition. In 1999 and 2000, Heriot's achieved two more titles.
They qualified for the first edition of the British and Irish Cup by finishing second in the 2008/09 Scottish Championship.
