The Glasgow Hawks Rugby Football Club is a rugby union -Verein which in the Scottish Premiership plays. The home games are played at Old Anniesland in Glasgow .
The club was formed in 1997 when the first teams of the Glasgow Academicals and the Glasgow High Kelvinside RFC were merged. He rose from the second to the first division in his first season. In 2000 they reached the cup final, but were inferior to Boroughmuir . Two years later, the Hawks lost again the final for the cup. In 2004 they became champions for the first time and at the same time also won the cup. The championship title could be defended twice.
