Herluf Børgesen trolls

Herluf Børgesen Trolle (* 1716 ; † February 19, 1770 in Copenhagen ) was a royal Danish colonel and chamberlain and most recently head of the Danish body regiment .

Life

His parents were Börge Trolle (1675-1739) and his wife Charlotte Amalie von Rosenkrantz (1688-1722).

He became a country cadet on January 17, 1729 and an ensign in the South Jutland National Infantry Regiment on February 25, 1733. On May 6, 1737 he was given the character of Premier Lieutenant. On November 11, 1737, he became a captain and company commander. On March 10, 1747 he was transferred to the Falster Infantry Regiment. On October 28, 1749 he was given the character of a major, on October 5, 1754 he was made a second major with a patent from September 18, 1754. Two years later, on October 20, 1756, he was given the character of a lieutenant colonel. On July 8, 1761 he was transferred to the Funen National Infantry Regiment. On October 16, 1763 he became commander of the 1st battalion of the regiment and received 895 Reichstaler. On February 19, 1764 he became a real colonel and chief of the Delmenhorst Infantry Regiment, and in 1766 he became Danish chamberlain. On June 21, 1769 he was appointed chief of the body regiment. He died in Copenhagen on February 19, 1770 and was buried in Holmen Church .

family

He was married to Anna von Gersdorff -Trolle (* 1724; † April 9, 1761), she was the daughter of Christian Friedrich von Gersdorff (1697-1759) and his first wife Anne von Trolle-Holck (1700-1728). The couple had at least one son:
