Herman Axelbank
Herman Axelbank (born May 30 or June 1, 1900 in Novo Konstantinow, Russian Empire , today Ukraine , † July 12, 1979 in New York City ) was a Russian-born film producer in the USA .
Life
Herman Axelbank came to the USA in 1909. At the age of 16 he was already working in Samuel Goldwyn's office . In the years after the Russian Revolution he created a unique film collection to document it. With the collaboration of Max Eastman , the film Tsar to Lenin (1937) was made.
