Herman Thomas Bianchi

Herman Thomas Bianchi (born December 14, 1924 in Rotterdam , † December 30, 2015 in Leeuwarden ) was a Dutch legal scholar , criminologist and mystic . He was a professor at the Free University of Amsterdam and, together with Nils Christie , Louk Hulsman and Thomas Mathiesen, is one of the most important representatives of abolitionism .

After retiring as a university professor, he turned to mysticism and poetry . Since then he has published under the name Thomas .
