The residential office building Hermann-Löns-Straße 1 is in the Rheydt district in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
The building was built in 1904. It was entered under No. H 008 on December 4, 1984 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
architecture
The three-storey Art Nouveau building with a half- hipped roof is a residential commercial building from 1904. The facade is sparingly designed, smoothly plastered with a corner oriel suggestion over two storeys with a polygonal tower crown in the hipped roof area . In Hermann-Löns-Straße the building is bent once along the street, the kink is accentuated with a two-storey round bay window and, in the further course, a three-fold building gradation up to a gate passage with a triangular gable . Object no. 1 and the neighboring building at Düsseldorfer Strasse 47 form an assembly .
