Hermann Buddenhagen

Hermann Buddenhagen (born August 14, 1887 in Rostock ; † January 20, 1965 there ) was a German teacher, author and editor .

Life

Buddenhagen was born the son of a ship carpenter. From 1909 to 1911 he attended the teachers' college in Neukloster and in 1911 took over a one-class country school. He taught at the state seminar from 1913 to 1922. From 1922 to 1938 he was a teacher at a middle school in Warnemünde . His discharge from school service was due to his membership in a Masonic lodge . After the end of the Second World War he was a district school councilor until 1946, then rector and training manager in Rostock. From 1952 he worked as a lecturer at Hinstorff Verlag .
