Hermann Busse (politician)

Hermann Busse (born November 23, 1903 in Lübbecke ; † January 27, 1970 in Hemer ) was a German lawyer and politician ( DDP , later FDP ).

Life and work

After attending the schools in Lübbecke and Bünde and graduating from high school, Busse studied law at the universities of Gießen , Frankfurt am Main and Münster . He passed the first state examination in law at the Hamm Higher Regional Court and completed his studies after completing his traineeship with the second state examination in law. Then he settled as a lawyer in Herford .

Busse participated as a soldier in World War II and was last captured, from which he was released in 1949. He then worked again as a lawyer and notary in Herford. He was also a member of the Constitutional Court of North Rhine-Westphalia until 1961 .

Political party

Busse joined liberalism and was a member of the DDP and the DStP (German State Party) until the party was dissolved in 1933 . He joined the FDP in 1949 , was FDP district chairman in Herford from 1950 to 1963 and at times also district chairman of the party.

Busse was a council member of the city ​​of Herford since 1952 . From 1961 to 1969 he was a member of the German Bundestag . He was drawn into parliament via the state list of the FDP North Rhine-Westphalia.
